School memories
Written by: Douglas Molinari
Memory is the process of retaining and recalling past experience of storing information from the past, sometimes years, months, or even years. Allowing for the reuse of all previous and current experiences, as well as assisting in maintaining consistency between what was and what was going to be.
Although I can't say I remember every fun moment I’ve had at school, I know for a fact that the water balloon war is an event that stands out in my memory. It was a lot of fun to interact with the teachers and other students as we threw balloons filled with water at each other. The cafeteria was selling some good stuff that day as well. Although we had a great time, being wet and then having to change clothes after the event was not my cup of tea, but I was surrounded with some of my best friends.
My time at school has been pleasant and interesting. I've accomplished quite some things, such as assisting teachers, as well as projects for the science fair, technology assignments like Pseint, excel, writing essays, and spelling bees. The Ghostbuster dance we did as a class is another great memory I cherish. That event was fun for me, not just because of the dancing, but also because of how upbeat everyone was. I was quite proud of the entire team because it was one of the best performances of that evening. The pressure from our classmates made it quite challenging.
I also remember the mini-olimpiadas, which were a great occasion planned by our PE teacher, particularly for sports fans. Unfortunately, unlike other of my classmates, I didn't get any medals. I actually hurt myself trying to jump over a tiny barrier. I was really expecting to take home a medal, but the most important thing is I enjoyed the activity such as everyone else, made new friends, and practiced a sport.
Last but not least, one of our science fairs, which was held about seven years ago. I remember worrying as I prepared because it was our first science fair. We were having trouble with the project since we lacked experience, though we managed to get a good grade. I had the opportunity to win a prize alongside my outstanding classmates.
Wow, I feel identified with most of the feelings shown in this article. Keep me posted, I'd like to know more about your thoughts!
