Grade Activities

Written by: Andrea Urcuyo Education has been constantly changing. Teachers have had to rethink the way they approach us. One way to have us put our creativity out there and learn how to work in teams has been through projects. These projects can help us improve in many ways. For instance, in our English class we have been collaboratively working on a website. Other grades have been assigned similar activities. Through these projects we are able to improve our vocabulary, fluency, comprehension, and speaking skills. 9th grade has been assigned a marketing challenge. They were divided into 2 groups and had to choose a product they would like to upgrade. Each team had to decide on a logo, slogan and all the marketing strategies necessary to promote their product. They followed a structured pdf given by Ms. Buezo not to get lost. Written by: Carlos Arévalo In the following article, I will be sharing with you some of the activities that take place through the school years in Europaschule. My personal favorite is the Artistic Evening (Velada Artística), because every grade in Europaschule made an act to perform to the parents, and it was beautiful. Nevertheless, the first one on the list is:   The Olympics (Mini Olympics) The Olympics and Mini Olympics 2022 took place in the school’s premises in the mornings of October 27th, 28th and 31st from 7 am to 8:30 am. The games selected were: Ping-Pong, relay race, obstacle race and hurdling. The Event was organized in teams. Even though the medals were individual, each grade was a team. These teams won by participating in a lot of games. Laterne The Laterne 2022 took place in the Europaschule institute at night. It is important that you know that if you fail one day, you try to get up and do it again. Through failure, you learn to be successful, don't give up! That applies to all aspects in life, but the main purpose of this is how you feel with school. Maybe I might not be the ideal person to give some advice in how to deal with the education you are receiving, but I do know a thing or two that have helped me through this path. School is the place where we learn, laugh, stress, and even cry. It is impossible to never stress about homework, things not going the way you wanted, not having a perfect day, in between others. Nevertheless, there are more good days than bad days, and what matters is, we are alive.
